Tantalas Resort Lodge Pickleball Courts
In May, the WPA secured an agreement with the Tantalus to convert one of their tennis courts into two permanently setup pickleball courts. The lodge is located just south of the Whistler Golf Range.
Facility access is restricted to WPA members and Tantalus Resort Lodge guests, staff and owners only. As a result, we have secured court time to run WPA programs and allow members to book open slots (100min sessions for a total cost of $8.00).
We are very grateful to the Tantalus for their community goodwill in allowing us to play there. Please be respectful of their property and note that there is no on-site parking. It’s a great place to walk or bike to, located just outside of Whistler Village.
Municipal Courts & Gyms
The RMOW has 15 public tennis courts, 9 of them are lined for pickleball. There are also various indoor gyms that are used to supplement programming in the colder months.

Advocacy for Facility Development
Armed with the knowledge that Pickleball is growing exponentially in town, the WPA has been very active in seeking out new places to play. We have recently:
- Sat in on Muni discussions on tennis court conversion and advocated for a racquet sports master plan (with an ultimate goal of securing dedicated community PB courts)
- Partnered with strata councils to advise and assist in painting on pickleball lines to their private courts
